Due to increased and diversified market share, contributing to continued growth and development, the need for a part time Corporate Accounts Assistant to join the company has been identified.
The role of a part time Corporate Accounts Assistant is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career in accounting and finance, within a growing, supportive and professional environment.
The role will include:
- Process and raise supplier invoices for payment using both Dext and Xero and liaising with Director/Corporate Accountant to enable bi-weekly payments.
- Processing credit notes
- Resolve invoice and supplier queries when required
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and client invoicing
- Assisting with managing the Finance inbox and ensuring all emails are actioned and supplier invoices are raised in accountancy software.
- Liaising with service charge accountants and other departments with any queries when needed
- Communicating coherently and positively in written and verbal form
Other tasks commensurate with this role will include:
A successful candidate will bring a high level of customer service and strong communication skills whilst having a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced growing environment.
Required:
- Excellent Customer Service
- Friendly, professional and driven nature
- Proficiency in accounting software – preferably Xero would be advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and spoken
- Experience with accounts payable processes
- Studying towards AAT or equivalent, or a strong understanding of financial management and financial principles will be considered
- Hardworking with a key desire to have a positive influence on interaction with customers and clients
- Good time management and the ability to work under pressure
Administrative skills and experience
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook and bespoke packages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and passionate about working as part of a team
- Proactive, receptive and adaptable to change whilst being diligent and providing ideas to encourage growth and efficiencies
- Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeping experience (1 year + preferred)
- Evidence of eligibility to live and work in the UK

Working Hours
Part time role – 20 hours across a minimum of 3 days per week.
